1. PROBLEM — At several departments in hospitals, such as transplantation and fertility, even the lowest Particulate Matter (PM) and airborne pathogens may form a risk to the patients.Ventilation rate and pattern is often insufficient to ensure safety of the patients and positive pressure is not easily established to prevent the infiltration of pathogens from other sections into their rooms.
2. SOLUTION — The ASPRA Ceiling can be implemented for 100% recirculation of the air inside the room. The system is then installated above the ceiling with its own extraction and inlet plenums inside the room.In other area’s, the ASPRA Ceiling is installed to generate positive pressure in the room while creating a flow of clean air on the top of the patient bed.
